This is the easiest way to change domain user password on Windows server 2008 R2. All you need to do is logging on domain controller with administrator rights and follow steps below:

Click on the Start button located at the left bottom corner of the screen, then select All Programs > Administrative Tools > Active Directory Users and Computer.

Next, right click on your user name, select Reset Password from the list.
